I want to archive my videos shot with Sony HDR-3 HDV camera at 1440x1080 resolution and some DV videos . Suggest whether i should use ASP codec or AVC codec . Also Suggest bitrate and if any custom profile .
Codec : ?
Bitrate : ?
Dinterlacer (for HDV ) : ?
Deinterlacer ( for DV ) : ?

Just keep it as is. It's not worth it for the ~50% reduction in bitrate you could typically achieve with AVC while maintaining transparency.
25 megabit isn't that big. If it's really too big, then keep the interlacing for sure. I would say maybe use Xvid, since it has better interlacing support than x264 IIRC. I think x264 doesn't allow b-frames among other things when you enable its interlacing support.
