So I've got some video files. I really want to put them all on a single DVD+R but I'm about 100mb over.

There's 12 files 10 of which are about 350mb, 2 are about 700mb.
I would prefer to shrink them all to an even ratio but if it would save a lot of trouble I would be willing to just shrink the 2 larger files.

As for the previous encoding... That I'm not sure of. How would one check that sort of thing?

Once I find that out, I'll need to know the easiest (not necessarily the best) way to shrink these files down.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was not the creator of the files. Let's leave it at that...

On a simmilar note I have loads of home camcorder films of the family all on individual DVDs. I used Movie Edit Pro for this. Can I shirink these and then put several films onto one DVD thus reduciing the numebr of disks they are on?
Apologies for my ignorance on this

just create an oversized DVD with ur files and shrink that to standard DVD5 again ;)

if u just wanted to create a Data DVD with ur avis on it than you have to re-encode those 2 700MB files... with Auto GK for example - it takes avis as input and you can enter your desired size...

etc. pp
