Is it possible to encode straight from dvd source (with options specified)?

I frequently encode non-encrypted dvd video(mostly mounting an iso with daemon tools). But when I modify options, AGK tries to write .option files to the source location and fails since it is read-only. Is there a work around? Seems like AGK could have a fall-back feature to where it creates these files in an alternate location.

I’m not aware of any workaround. You should always rip the DVD first anyway. Even without encryption things like seemless branching make it a very bad idea to encode directly from the disc or an 1:1 image.
