Anyone here using an Audigy 4 pro? I just purchased one through ebay and it didn't ship with the 4-wire "power converter cable." Its the same size as a floppy power connector, but I am unsure of the pinout.

I have searched on the net but haven't yet found a clear enough picture to verify the pinout. (Creative's converter may rearrange the order.)

I'd really appreciate it if anyone with the card could let me know how the cable hooks up to the card.

Just using the floppy power connector would put 5v (red) at the pin closest to the rear-panel mounting bracket, and 12v (yellow) on the pin farthest from the mounting bracket, with 2 grounds on the middle 2 pins.

Anyone?

TIA

I doubt that Creative would be so stupid as to require connecting a cable to their sound card that matches a floppy power cable in form factor, but not pinout.

Still, it's Creative... :)

If it works, no worries!

This photo (http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/5390/finalcaseshot4br.jpg) shows a wire with the same pinout (probably actually is a floppy wire) going into it, so hey.

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and used the floppy drive power connector and it works fine.
