Ok so i just got a lg blu ray/hd-dvd drive. I have been trying to follow this guide

http://forum.videohelp.com/topic333634.html

I used tsremux in the first step here

http://club.cdfreaks.com/f142/bd2dvd-blu-ray-dvd-guide-232165/

After tsremuxthis is what ive tried so far

Open m2ts ine tmpg express4, nero 8 apps(make video, recode etc etc)

I tried to open the file in dgindex but when i do file open i get this error saying
cant find audio and video data make sure your pids are set correctly in stream menu

I cant even get the file to play in vlc, nero showtime nor power dvd

What am i doing wrong. Im trying to encode the file to any high def format that will play on this

Try saving the m2ts as a ts file in TsRemux.

You don't need to convert anything. Once the movie has been ripped it is a .m2ts file, which plays natively on the 4100. The only problem might occur when you try to play the file-if the bit rate is too high the Tvix won't be able to handle it. Another important point, most blu ray rips in encoded as MPEG2 will stream well over your wired LAN, but VC-1 and AVC encoded titles must be played from either the 4100's hard drive or an external hard drive hooked up to one of the 4100's USB ports. I have found that about 89% ov VC-1 encoded movies play and about 40% of AVC movies will play. The new Tvix 6500 which is coming out next month should be able to handle all AVC and VC-1 files because it has a much faster CPU. As a side note, I would stick to HD DVD rips-almost every one of them play on the tvix after converting the file container to .m2ts using evodemux.exe and tsremux.exe. The only movie I have found so far that doesn't play was I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. The reaon HD DVD rips work better is because the bit rate isn't as high as blu ray rips. If you have any other questions send me a private mail or check out mpcclub.com.
