Will XBOX360 play H264 MP4 encoded files via Media Center Extender?

Will my XBOX360 play H264 MP4 encoded Video files created using DVDFab Platinum 4 over my Media Center Extender? I created an episode of M.A.S.H. using DVDFab encoded H264 MP4 and it won't play on my XBOX360 MCE but will play just fine using Media Player Classic on the PC. But reading here I get the feeling that it's supposed to play on the 360. Is something wrong with my setup or codec's?

Through the media center extender you can only stream WMV and .MPG. all the other ones are through the 360's regular frontend.
