when I burn a dvd using dvd source creator and dvd author, the audio does not burn to the disk. When I check the volumne1 folder after dvd author runs, there is nothing in it. The file or movie is divx and I have loaded every codec I can find to my laptop. Any suggestions as to what the problem is?

Hi!

An empty "AUDIO_TS" folder is normal in the world of standard DVDs.

All video and audio (and subpictures/subtitles) is included in the ".VOB" files located in the "VIDEO_TS" folder...

Install Gspot (it's freeware) and identify your audio. Maybe it is DTS or AAC and DVD Source Creator can't convert it. Are you burning data DVDs or DVD format discs? Are you converting the divx to DVD format or just burning it as is? Because if you aren't converting, maybe the audio is there, but your laptop can't play it. Can you play the divx file before you convert it or burn it (whichever you are doing)? If you can't play before you burn, maybe you just don't have support for this audio. You need to identify the audio and tell us what you are doing before we can offer much help.
