View Full Version : Can't get DeDynamic to save output as WMA2

I'm using DeDynamic v1.1b

I ran

dedynamic -a 6 ph.wav ph_6.wav

and selected Windows Media Audio v2 format, 64 kb/s 44 KHz DivX audio

The program scanned for peaks, but produced only a token ph_6.wav
(probably just the header). Didn't give any error messages.

Any idea what's wrong?

The following is the screen output from an actual run:

I:\temp>dedynamic -a 10 ph.wav PHx4(WMA2).wav

??? Jimmy, what the heck are you trying to do here ?
DeDynamic is a WAV processor, the output should always be WAV again AFAIK ... can you select PCM output somewhere ?

Hi There,

I think that WMA2 only accepts 44.1 khz streams.

When I use dedynamic I always use the '-rate 44100' option to convert down to 44.1
