Hi,
first of all, I want to thanks the developer(s) for makin a wonderful suit for ripping movies :-)

I got a question/request though, is it possible to make a preview that will take a 1 minute sample in the middle of the movie (w/ given bitrate / reso / whatever else) to actually see how it looks (or maybe make an option so compression check file won't be erased) since trying to visualize bit/pixel is kinda hard :P

Thanks
Speeder

this can only be done after the first pass. so the answer is no.

no.
comp-check is done at maximum quality (= maximum filesize = 100%). it wouldn't tell you anything about your final file at maybe 70%.
the comp-check percentage is all you have before encoding. get familiar with it.

Where can i find more info on the pixel/bitrate business?
