Vstrip -- Strips ac3 but deletes m2v ????

I have some VOB files on my computer, which I am now trying to get into ac3/m2v form. I read the guide and set up the GUI like it said, with Output 0 being the ac3 and Output 1 being the m2v.

While Vstrip was running I saw that it created both files, but as soon as it finishes it seems to delete the m2v file???!?!?!?

Anyone heard of this happening? any possible solutions?

did you check the demux flags and the particular streams you wanted for each output?
if that doesn't work (but it should), try checking the append button...

Thanks Maven . After clicking the "Append" checkbox the video file seem to stick around. But I did get an error suggesting the disk is full, which it is not! and I think it cropped of the end...it ended at 94%. Which actual only chopped off some of the credits, but do you know why this happened and do you know any rememdy?

By the way I was taking the vob from the hard drive, but it is possible to grab them directly off of the dvd correct?

Sorry, One more question.... The ac3 file created seems not to have the correct header on it. (A couple other programs were unable to recognize it as valid ac3 file, one mentioned invalid header)

I clicked the "AC3 Header" check box, and only choose one of the ac3 audio streams, in the substream menu on the right of the Vstrip GUI.

I got a very similar problem. Im trying to rip a music video and some other xtra's off Batman Beyond and it goes through the process like it is going to work...but right as it is done it delete's the file it has created. I got it to work once but it didnt have any audio. I can get it to work everytime in smart ripper but again only video no audio. Is this some sort of file protection or is my system buggy?

i cant get it to work either i already used ifoedit to rip the streams and now i want to rip out the remaining audio but everything i try doesnt work all i get is an ac3 file with 0 kbytes god why is this stuff never simple lol if i dont click the appendbutton the file gets deleted automatically

all of these bugs are noted and will be fixed in the next version, but i'm currently really busy, and so the plugin-system hasn't made that much progress... :(
