Vista for DVD decrypter, dvd shrink, any dvd, etc

Hey, I'd like to know how the above mentionned prgms. work with vista. I have XP and it's ok. Mu buddy wants me to show him how to back up dvd's and he just bought a new pc with............... vista. Am I getting in to some major headaches?:scared:

All those things work fine for me, and I'm on Vista x64. Here's a hint though, if he's only got 1gig of ram, turn off Superprefetch. It chews the ram up and is only beneficial for speed with at least 2gig of ram! (4gb it runs really well, but can only really do that properly on x64 version).
