best cdr's for svcd's?

what brand of cdr's are the best for burning svcd's?
in other words, which cdr's work well in stand alone dvdplayers?

It depends on your dvd player, you must try with several brands first or send this question to a dedicated forum like cdmediaworld.com or vcdhelp.com...

I personally use black CD-Rs (ok, I know color probably don't mean a thing but at least it makes them easy to find in the store ;-). They prove to be 100% reliable (never had any proble whatsoever on my Tokai-Raite-Yamakawa 715 standalone player).
Brands I would recommend are Memorex Black Cd-R 80 min
and PNY black diamond 80min (up to 20x writing speed, though I never tried it).
