I guess the answer is a big no. But is there anyway when only using DVD2SVD to fiddle with the break point in a movie between 2 cd's so that it doesn't break in the middle of a sentence etc. and appears to be a more natural breakpoint ?
Thanks

Hi,
I asked the same kind of question a few days ago in the DVD2SVCD adbaced forum. The excellent Mozart gave a pretty good answer that will help you split movie between 2 original DVD chapters. The only requirement is that you know hopw much you can fit on 1 CD with your current encoding parameters (I usually have a max 45 min on each CD).
Here it is, I hope it helps. ALl credits go to Mozart.
<<Use "activate dvd ripping" and "use internal routines" in DVD rip <<tab. Load the ifo file. After this, you can see the time length of <<the movie. Click in movie length pulldown. There you can see the <<time lenght of the selected chapters to rip. Select the first N <<chapters so that the sum of time length of these N chapters are <<almost 1/2 of the time length of the movie. Start the process.
<<Repeat the same process for the 2nd 1/2 of the movie, choosing <<another folder as output.
Have fun
