I have just got a Sony NWZA818 mp3 player that I believe plays MPEG-4 SP Up to 2.5 Mbps, up to 30 frames a second and AVC Baseline. video Up to 768 kbps, up to 30 frames per second. The resolution of the screen is 320x240

The reason I say I think this is what it handles is because it doesnt even tell me in the instruction manual, I had to resort to the internet, thumbs down there.

Having not bothered with technology for a while i'm blown away with the sheer number of formats and permitations that have popped up. My poor little head is spinning.

Can anyone advise on which of the two formats is better in terms of picture quality, and are there any guides knocking about.

Thanks in advance.
