Hi,
I have a WinTV PVR 150 and i use it to cap basketball games thru the s-video to my HD Cable box. My question is, if i buy a s-video to component cable will the PQ look a bit better or will it be the same ? Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help answering the question would be appreciated.;)

The picture quality will only be as good as the worst part of the linkge. Therefore, in theory, the s-video to component won't look any better. That said, it depends on the device you're connecting to as well... in most cases there won't be, a good quality s-video cable would be a better option.

The S-video connection has the potential of yielding excellent looking images, as long as you're using a good quality lead that's fully shielded - Sadly many leads are not!
