View Full Version : Editing an HD DVD (one more step to go!)

Hey guys, someone recommended I post this question in this forum. I have an HD DVD I successfully ripped. I demuxed it, then tried to open the demuxed mpv file into a plethora of video editing programs and converters. NOTHING will open it. Namely I am using Sony Vegas to edit, but I'll take anything at this point. I've edited high def footage I've downloaded in the past, but that's because it was obviously already in a usable format.

I do not need to compress anything so using divx and AviSynth and all that stuff is not only extreme and a waste of time, it also would be compressing the video for no reason. I just want my video editing programs to be able to open this video. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!
