HI!

I was using the latest version of SC without any problems until today. After starting the program I receive the following error, no matter what I do:

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : subtitlecreator.exe P2 : 2.0.0.0
P3 : 46b76e8e P4 : system.windows.forms P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 461ef203
P7 : 4a17 P8 : 78 P9 : system.argumentoutofrange

I tried everything, uninstall, reinstall, nothing helps, the same error. Tried to reinstall .net2, without success.

I have downloaded the previous version of SC 2.1 and that works fine. Reinstalled 2.2 and the error remains.

Please help me, what can I try, what could be the error? In version 2.1 DVD Authoring Wizard in step 3 the subtitles already on the DVD are not detected - btw everything worked fine in 2.2 until the crash.

Regards,
gurabli

have you try any registry cleaner tools? or is that a license software or you but it? if not maybe you need a crack files for that software...

It is a freeware software, so you don't need to buy it. But I'm considering donation because SC is such a good and helpful software. But it doesn't work for me anymore:(
What could happened, I don't know....

You use SC 2.2 which build ? The lastest is build 265.
If you're not using it, try the lastest exe here :

Hope it help.

Hi tomywong,

Where do your builds come from?
The official releases are hosted at sourceforge:

https://sourceforge.net/project/platformdownload.php?group_id=120228

Hi manusse,

You can see, if download from sourceforge, the latest is 4-NOV-2007. it is not latest.
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=120228

I get from SVN and compiled by myself.

Hi,

You are just recompiling interim versions. You can do it for yourself but please don't distribute them because they are not tested versions.
If you want to help us, you could translate SubtitleCreator to your native language. We would really appreciate.
Normally we also update the interim readme.txt for the differences. You can access it here:
http://subtitlecreator.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/subtitlecreator/trunk/Documentation/readme.txt?sortby=date&view=log
