Hola,

if 2 graphic-cards of the above mentioned chip have the exact same features except this...

either:

(600MHz) / 512MB DDR2 (800MHz)

or:

(800MHz) / 256MB DDR3 (1400MHz)

...

which card would you prefer?


P.S.: both cards are designed for an AGP slot ...

I'd go for the second. Any game that really demands 512Meg Video RAM is going to need a better system that you can use an AGP card for anyway. imo the higher clock speed will serve you better.

There is the nvidia 8600 GT with the same options. And benchmarks showed better results with DDR3 and less memory.

I dont remeber the link for the benchmark, but I remember the benchmarks cause I have 8600 GT DDR2 :(
