View Full Version : can't remove ogm drivers. need help!

Hi,

since i installed the ogm drivers, everything comes up with subtitles and i can't play some divx.

how do i remove these drivers? i've tried to do a goggle without any luck.

please help!

For one, there is no such thing as ogm drivers.

For another, if you installed them, you can uninstall them. Just remember the name of the file that you installed, open up your "Add/Remove Programs" under your control panel, and click uninstall.

If you can't find something called illiminable, it might be part of a codec pack. Nasty things, generally, which is why they're strongly recommended against here. Uninstall either way, stick with simple ffdshow and haali's filter.

If all else fails, find the file (it'll probably be ogg something .ax) and use regsvr32 -u "file.ax" on it, then reboot. Should be gone.

no luck on both of them. already tried the add/remove without any luck.

when i go into sound & multimedia under hardware, i can't find ogm anywhere.

this is a hard one to work out...

failing that
tell us *exactly* what you installed
if you don't want to, re-install
