hi gang

i have this problem removing this roxio troublemaker.whatever
i try wont remove it.i did what roxio suggested at the website
but no use.i used the windows uninstaller but the problem is
to deep for to be any help.there r still traces of it in my comp
-ter in the form of ddl files.its not in my add and remove list
(god if it only was).the computer has been crashing and after
would it says that its because of this udf reader thing.is there
a software i can buy to help me get rid of it?i cant uninstall it
from the installation cds for it.any help would be appreciated.

What you need is an uninstaller utility which can monitor the software at install time and then do a clean uninstall afterwards. So, yes, you'll need to install that Roxio thing again, once you install the installer. That way the uninstaller can monitor what changes the Roxio installer is making to your PC.

As for the uninstaller, try these freeware:

Total Uninstall 2.35 (http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/files/tun235.zip)
ZSoft Uninstaller 2.4.1 (http://www.zsoft.dk/download.php?appid=4)

If these freeware doesn't do the trick, then your option is to go for one of those paid-ware applications (I use Your Uninstaller! 2006 myself, but there are other software which claims to be better than this). Let us know how this goes.
