Hello to Everyone, is there a command or plugin to get a video film noir tint embeded to the output of the encoded file ?

What is a "film noir tint"? A screenshot of your desired effect would be helpful.

If you think those shots look anything like a noir look, then you really don't know what you're asking for. Noir is a bleached out, supercontrasty look with intense shadows, a recent example being Sin City, but you simply can't replicate it with filters. Half of the look comes from the intense lighting, and you can't just create chiaroscuro and silhouettes out of thin air.

@xbox360

A shot in the dark. My TV set has a "theater" mode. Using this mode the contrast is reduced at about a half. Then you can achieve this effect with avisynth's filter tweak

clip.tweak(cont=0.5) (or 0.7, or whatever value that pleases you)

Good luck

crush the blacks or lower the gamma, or both (those 2 pics are actually quite flat compared to a film noir look). maybe have a shot at desaturating it too.

something like:

tweak(sat=.3)
converttorgb()
levels(70,.75,235,0,255)
converttoyv12()

the colourspace conversions may or may not be necessary. it wil change the look of it, as gamma doesn't behave as expected in YUV spaces by nature.

really what you want is to get a tape-to-tape colour grade done. that's a little bit outside the scope of avisynth (though potentially something could be put together in the same way a NLE could be built around avisynth).
