Can someone please spell out to me what it means to select forced frame? I am only dealing with ntsc to ntsc. everything i have read regarding this have talked about pal. Is this something that you always select? what are the implementations if you don't select it?

A quick explanation of "Forced Film" is that it basically will take your HYBRID movie and convert it to a SYNCHED, non-interlaced, progressive stream where no long Inverse Telecine needed.

snippet from other source, but thats pretty much it. This may not always work, and youll know if it doesnt! Itll be choppy and shitty, then you gotta do the ivtc.

HTH,
