Hello,
I've got an old MPM-201 (portable video player) and it plays back most divx/xvid files but only if they use packed bitstream (NVOP-BP) I've searched around and an old version of autogk used this but the newest version doesn't. I've checked the hidden options and the faqs and didn't find an option for it.
am I looking wrong or can I use some commandline to force this ?
If I change the xvid codec settings to PB and then start encoding with autogk (2.47 beta) it automaticly reverts them back so PB is not selected.

All advice is welcome
thx in advance :)

ESS should force packed bitstream, along with 1 max consecutive bframe though.

Not a long term solution if you are encoding a lot of files, but MPEG4Modifier can pack unpacked files.

You might want to try StaxRip--that's what I use now with celtic_druid's Xvid builds for MTK profile. I set PB and can pick whatever bframes or other settings I want.
