I posted a thread in here a few weeks ago saying that I was having problems backing up The Movie "Deja Vu" using Ripit4me along w/ DVDshrink.
Seastrip_old said that the movie has two versions a 2 h 43min. "Extras Window" Version and a regular 2 h and 6 minute (not sure of exact length) version - and that all rippers automatically default to the longer version - so by selecting the 2h 6min version I should end up with the regular movie and not the extras window version.
- I guess my question is (still being a newbie) how do I select the shorter NON - extras window version. I had given up previously trying to figure out how to do this, and thought I'd take another crack at it.
- Do I first rip the full DVD using the one-click mode in Ripit4me and then once it gets to DVDshrink select the other version by re-authoring it? or is there a way to select the shorter version of the movie in Ripit4me - because as Seastrip_old said before it's already selected the longer movie by default. (as you can see I'm definately still a newbie - thanks again for taking the time to impart all your wisdom and knowledge to a newbie)
Sincerely
