I have just made the jump to Win XP and so far I love it, but I'm having a little problem.

Here is my error message:

CDRwin

Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager
ASPI support information was not found

I tried installing ASPI.zip from Q49 of the DVD2SVCD Q & A but I still get the same error message when starting the program. Has any 1 else have experance with this?

Thank you for all the help in advance.

I myself use a program called ForceAspi which I downloaded off the net you can just do a basic search for it in yahoo ect.

I didn't try forceASPI after reading Q49. Basicly says use forceASPI for Win2k and ASPI.zip for WinXP. So I tried the ASPI.zip to no avail but after reading you post I gave it a try. So now I have both of them installed and now every thing is working. Thank You. Problem solved.

If you have PowerDVD that installs a fairly decent aspi driver as well.
