Under the Conversion Tab in DVD2SVCD:

When I have to choose a set under the 'selected audiotracks' does the Ch. mean the number of channels? ie. 2 = stereo and 6 = 5.1?

If so, if I select the 6 channel one, will I still be able to get all the full soundtrack through a normal 2 speaker hifi output? or will my image be only properly suitable for 6 channel setup's?

If you choose a 6 channel stream, DVD2SVCD downmixxes that into a 2 channel using Azid in DolbySurround. On most surround setups that will produce a simulated 5.1 environment that is pretty close to the original soundtrack. But on two channel setups (ie: TV) it just sounds like a normal stereo soundtrack. So go with the 6 channel and get the best of both worlds :D
