Maybee this is you answer....
A long time ago when one of the first accros protected DVDs
came out on the market (Closer) I made a backup (movie only) with DVDfab decrypter.
My backup had some strange delays in the begining of the movie.. At the time I didnt bother.
But a week ago I tried to backup Pursuite of Happyness and
got the same strange delays. I usally dont use DVDfab decrypter
but since RipIt4Me isnt updated anymore I gave DVDfab a try.
It seams that DVDfab dont clean up the cells properly.
In the movie Pursuit Of Happyness was the 32 first cells crap
and almost as many at the end..
Then I looked at my backup of Closer and found some crapy cells in the begining of the movie...
How to remove this cells ???
Well...open the whole DVD in pgcedit and delete the crapy cells.
And clean up the whole DVD with FixVts V1.603...
Problem solved.....

First, the delays by tiny cells are a nuisance, but only for a second or so. They do play the same way on the original, don't they?
And what makes you think RipIt4Me doesn't work? It eliminates the tiny cells.

Hi...
well the movie plays fine but there is a delay for about 20 sec
in the begining. So if anybody want to remove this delay
or understand why there is a delay, here is the answer..
I can say that Power DVD didnt have the delay, VLC and MPC and
my mediajukebox and stand alone DVDplayer had the problem (delay)...
About RipIt4Me...
In this case RipIt4Me give us a cleaner backup....
When I backuped Closer RipIt4Me didnt exist only pgcedit and PSL files..
And when I backuped Pursuite Of Happyness I only gave DVDfab a try....I bet there should be some crapy cells on backups of Casino Royale using DVDfab...RipIf4Me did it perfect...

I saw the same on Spiderman 3, using AnyDVDHD and DVDDecrypter.
I tried to edit out the delay using DVDShrink, but for some reason it wanted to double the size of the movie, so I didn't bother in the end.

With Ripit4me, use the "Jump To First Valid Menu" option after cleaning the vob's. That should help.

What version of dvdfab decryper were you using? its updated frequently. The best place to download it is from the official website as many websites may host older versions.

Hi....
Well I dont have a problem with crapy cells left behind.
But I have seen some other posters in other forums
that had questions about this delay effect..
For Pursuite Of Happyness
I was using DVDFab HD Decrypter V3.2.1.0
And for the old movie Closer....well it was in the early days
of DVDfab Decrypter V1.xxxx maybe...
So its strange to see that this untidness have been following the program for so long....or is it me ????
Not all the cells are not completly empty well 12/100 of a sec..
But its sometimes enought to confuse the DVD player.
If somebody try to blank the cells with VobBlanker (nice program) you still got the delay but it plays smoother.

Hi stars,
Please try DVDFab 4.0 Beta, I think the problem is solved.
