I have ripped a few DVD's to my HDD (just using the 1st stage of the process) assuming that I can use DVD2SVCD at a later date to encode the films.

I just have the VTS files and the IFO in seperate folders for each movie, will this work ok?

....and does around 10hrs for a 120min film on 2 80min cds @ VBR 4 pass 192kbs sound....seem about right?

- PC is 1.33 Tbird / ATA100/133 80gig 7200 Maxtor / KT7a / 512 cas2 133 ram

Thanks for any help offered :)

P.S...very impressed by the results from the above encode - great program :)

hehe....thanks for the really quick response :)

how much quicker do you think a single pass vbr with TS would be for the same film?
