Virtual Dub displays only part of video

Hi. I am using Vdub 1.7.3, When loading some files, the input display shows only the bottom quarter of the video, and any compressions or conversions also display only the bottom quarter of the video.

Virtualdubmod opens the video fine and it plays properly with bsplayer or WMP.

Any idea on what this might be?

1) The most current version of (standard) VirtualDub is now v.1.7.6

2) Load the video into GSpot and post a screencapture back here

Hello and thanks for your response. I was able to fix the problem by uninstalling and re-installing xvid and ffdshow.

All seems to be working well again.
