Hi,
I think this forum provides the best information for video encoding etc. in the web.
But what I need are some Books as reference for my dissertation (which can be quoted), which deal with the new AVC Codecs, GUI's, Scripts etc.
Can someone recommend any good books?

thank you, that helped me a lot.

If anyone knows some books in german I would be happy.
It seems that there doesn't exist a translation of Richardson to German.
Anyway this book looks excellent.
