Hello!
It would be great if there will be a a cut funktion in the next version. So that you can choose self wenn you want cut and begin a new cd! It sounds bad when its cut in the middle of a discussion. I hope you understand me!

That is very difficult to do from a user perspective. You would need to know exactly what frame to stop at.
Use the cd overlap function and increase the amount if you are
concerned about stopping in the middle of a word.

OR how about a kind of batch function? Ya see I use the internal routines (or SmartRipper to HD) to rip/encode by chapter so that it doesnt cut right in the middle of a scene (I swear I can't even watch the rest of the movie after that happens...). For instance, it would be nice if I could set DVD2SVCD to rip cd1: chapters 1-10 and cd2: chapters 11-22 then it would do both cds without me having to run it 2-3 times for every svcd i do...

It's difficult to say at which chapter you want to split, because the split is not at half the playtime but half the file-size.
If a movie has most action-scenes at the second disk, the split point could be after 50 min of a 90 min movie. So the second part won't fit on one CD if you split after 46 min.
If you encode with CBR it would work fine, but with VBR it could work or could not...

Its the way i do it now, I rip the chapters I want for the first cd then feed them to dvd2svcd, then do that for the rest of the cds....
Im just saying it would be nice to be able to set up the options for two(or three) encodes, save some sort of config files and then start a batch operation that would encode all the projects at once...
