How to create a SVCD with 2 audio streams ?

I tried to create a SVCD with 2 audio streams.
I have created the .m2v file with tmpgenc, and the two audio soundtracks as mp2 files.
Then, I use the multiplex option of Tmpgenc in order to create the mpg file with everything in it.
The problem is that when I try to read the movie on PC, with either PowerDVD 4_trial or WinDVD 2.5, I can't select the second audio track. It's as if I only had one audio track.
I don't understand why it doesn't work. I haven't tried on my standalone player yet, because I don't want to waste a CDR before I have seen it working correctly on the PC.

have you tried bbmpeg as muxer instead? I don't trust tmpg.
furthermore be aware that neither player fully supports SVCD, WinDVD is better at it than PowerDVD. And where did you get WinDVD 2.5 from? Never heard of that. All I know is 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.0 and 3.1

Hi,
The version of WinDVD I have is 2.6, sorry for the mistake.
I just downloaded the avi2mpg and bbmpeg package, but it doesn't want to import my mp2 file ! I also don't want to use these softwares to encode, I only need to mux the video stream with the two audio streams.
How do I proceed ? I run Win 98.

I can confirm again that I have WinDVD 2.6. It was bundled with my Abit Siluro T400 graphic card.
I found how to use bbmpeg, and thanks for the guide.
The generated file doesn't show a second audio track either with any of the DVD playing program I tried (WinDVD2.6, WinDVD 3.0trial, PowerDVD XPtrial).
So, I am currently burning it and I'll tell you the result.

As long as the muxed file is'nt burned, it is played, as if is has only one audio track, usually the last one. If it is burnt as SVCD, it plays with the first audio track as default and you are able to select the second audio track in WinDVD.

Ok, I burnt my SVCD and here is the result :
- With my standalone DVD player, a Scan SC2000 (a TYT2000 clone, also known as Manhattan 2000, and other names in the world), I can freely select between my audio tracks. So it is ok for that respect.
I burnt two SVCDs. One which is muxed by Tmpgenc, and the other one by bbmpeg.
The one muxed by Tmpgenc allows for a quicker change of audio tracks.
With the bbmpeg one, switching between audio tracks leads to a one-second sound muting before the change is done.
- The picture doesn't display correctly at all. This is the obvious dissapointment. The picture doesn't fit in the screen, I can see roughly 2/3 of it. The worst thing is that it keeps flickering between the left and the right side.
The only way to have a stable image is to zoom on it. In this case the picture is perfectly stable.
Using a PC program gives no problem (except for the second audio track which still remains invisible).
I don't know where my problem comes from, since the Scan SC2000 is supposed to be perfectly SVCD compatible.
