Hello,

I must appologize in advance if this post is found in the wrong section or if this has been somehow mentioned already. I did a search run on the forum but came up with nothing really.

I am having problems backing up my BATMAN BEGINS (region 2) dvd.
DVD decrypter failed miserably at about 55% of the process.
I saw that the drive slowed down (speeds varying between 0.0x and 0.8x) and had a lot of read retries but no errors untill it finaly got stuck.(it was an I/O error of some sort but it was really late and I was really tired, I just don't remember what it said)

It has no scratches on it, my disc is perfect so I guess it is a copy protection of some sort. DVDfab came up with an error as well around the same percentage more or less.

Can anyone please help?

That warner Brothers release should have no special or newer copy protection.

Either the DVD is damaged (possibly in a way that isn't visible to you), or the drive you're using to read it is problematic...

Retur the DVD to the place of purchase in exchange for a new replacement.
