Hi, I'm looking for a DVD-R recorder and have almost settled for the Pioneer DVR-A03 but this site http://www.avland.co.uk/pioneer/dvra03/ claims its discontinued and a new model is due soon. Does anyone know whats coming soon, or if another make is better? Thanks in advance.

Short answer: I don't know when the A04 will hit the streets but it MIGHT be worth waiting for. What extra features will you get and at what price?

Thanks for the replies guys, since I want to use DVD-R for the best standalone compatibility I think I'll hold off for the A04.
