Help with Anime IVTC and cleanup

Well my Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann - BEST SOUND showed up in the mail today (great soundtrack and great series by the way), and I noticed that it came with a bonus dvd containing all the Opening and Ending Sequences from the series. I am new to Anime dvd backup, does anyone have any advice on how to correctly deinterlace this clip (and maybe clean it up with an avisynth filter like mvtoon?). I have tried using the auto analyzer in megui but some "combing" still remains. Here is a link to a 14 second sample:
