I seem to have a problem opening AVI files in VDubmod, every time I try I get an error message saying the data might be corrupt. The files play fine in Windows Media Player. Am I missing a codec?

If a codec was missing, the error message would be different!

I guess the file that appears to be an AVI is not an AVI in fact.
Try to analyze your "AVI" file with Avinaptic (http://fsinapsi.altervista.org/code/avinaptic/avinaptic-20070929-full.zip) and see what it finds!

Another possibility: The file is an AVI, but it's damaged/incomplete...

Hi!

Or you can load the file into GSpot and post a screencapture back here...

The file plays fine in WMP but wont load in VDub. I should probably mention its burned onto a DVD+R

@sunwukong86

1) Your question:Am I missing a codec?indicates that you didn't create the file in question

2) The GSpot screencapture indicates the filename of a "torrents" download ("[S^M] BLEACH 114 RAW.avi".)
