Error Message

Hello everyone,
I am not so sure this is the right place to post this thread, but I didn't know where else to !
I received the following error message while downloading DivX codec 5.1:
"The instruction at 0x009c415b referenced memorty at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written".
I clicked OK to terminate and proceeded with the download.
I don't know what this error means and I am not sure either if the downloaded program will funciton properly.
Appreciate your help.

You got this from downloading from the divx site (www.divx.com)?

Thats a very strange message to get while downloading.

Did you select download and run from this location? If so then I understand the error. Its trying to install the application from the divx server.

Try downloading it again but instead of selecting download and install from this location Select save it to hard drive. When the download completes then navigate to where ever you saved it and then install it.
