So, if I perform a graphedit on the playback of a media file on a remote machine, different filters are used than would otherwise be used if I were at the console itself. That could spell trouble for encodes, correct? I believe RGB32 is used in addition to resize filters if the remote computer screen has a different resolution.
My question is whether operating any of the front ends for x264 on a remote machine to begin encodes while away from the machine would be a bad idea, or would the "behind-the-scenes" decoding of the source be identical to the decoding/color space used if I were sitting at the console?
