Hi guys,
I do not seem to be able to do anything with that release... just rented it and no tools can give me any info...
of course even the latest powerdvd cannot play it and comes up with an error. I press update, says it is updated but I still cannot play it back...

Does it play on your standalone player? If not, exchanging it would seem like a good choice.

Supposedly Cyberlink has a PowerDVD update that you can get by contacting support but they're supposedly releasing it soon from what I've read. I haven't contacted them myself as I don't have any of the new titles that'll require it.

Does this crap, er, protection work on PS3? Does anyone have one of these discs and a PS3 to test it on? Thanks!

i hear this so far:
PS3 = OK slower load times
Sony BDP1000 = OK excruciatingly long time for it to load, it went on to play with frequent stutters.
Pioneer 94 = 2 min load times on BD+ discs and stuttering
Samsung BD-P1200 = not working
Samsung BDP1400 = OK slower load times
thats what is being reported so far....

I plan on picking this disc up at some point. Won't be this week, but, I'd hope it'd play on my PS3. Slower load times is better than not working at all, so, I guess I'll take it.

Yea, seriously. :) That can't be a good sign at all! Let's see how the new PowerDVD version handles this.

Posting about a rented DVD in Decrypting is not on. See rule 6.
If you have playback problems, use that forum.
