If you want something free, the best sources I've found are the Elephant's Dream CGI sequence (1080p, 15000 frames) and that site with a dozen or so raw YV12 files of about 500 frames each.

There are professional testing sequences, but they generally come in raw YV12 format at humongous resolutions, and have very strict limitations on their usage.

It's possible with avisynth imagesource make an x264 version 1050p? Now I've found a very intensive work for my pc:eek:

edit: I think that images aren't all

I believe you'd be rather hard pressed to find high birate/uncompressed real world 1080p footage if you're looking for that.. But if you're looking for a CGI sequence, ED does fine. It's 22 GB @ 15k frames and is ideal for testing.. It's nothing like an anime in my experience though. IIRC, boosting reference frames did little to help quality (unlike how it is for an anime)

Best you can do is try asking everywhere you can, and do a little googling.. Sorry.

Those on Vuze are all between 1 and 8 MB/s, which is very low from a testing standpoint.

"that site" in Dark's message is ...

ftp://vqeg.its.bldrdoc.gov/HDTV/SVT_MultiFormat/

but only these streams are ok.

ftp://vqeg.its.bldrdoc.gov/HDTV/SVT_MultiFormat/2160p50_CgrLevels_Master_SVTdec05_

other folders have SINC resampled files which is no good from subjective point of view (but from mathematical point of view SINC is best method)
