If anyone knows - please post and save my sanity.

I'm looking for a 64 bit mp4 / mkv splitters. The closest thing i found is k-lite 64 codec pack with some DirectShow filters within. My problem is that k-lite screwed things up so many times on my system that I don't trust it at all. Also the 64 bit versions seem to conflict with 32 bit - which makes things even worse.

I was hoping to find individual filters for mp4, mkv and potentially avi that do not show up as a part of a codec pack and known to work in conjunction with 32 bit versions.

On a 32 bit side I'm using ffdshow and haali, on 64, ffdshow.

There used to be some 64-bit builds of Gabest's splitters (MP4 and MKV) on celtic_druid's site. Not sure if they're still there but they did work.

I think the above mentioned splitter is available in the vista codec package x64 addon, not sure where to find it separately.

Found it: http://tirnanog.fate.jp/mirror/Media%20Player%20Classic/external%20filters/x64/

They'll probably have to be manually registered.
