Hello,
I'm looking to convert a Music DVD to seperate MP3 files per track.
I've looked at the BeSweet guide up the top, but it mentions using AC3 files.
Can anyone point me to a program/guide on how to rip the audio from a dvd and convert it to seperate track AC3's, then to seperate track MP3s. (unless there is an easier way)

Thanks.

Open in DGIndex. Use the [ and ] buttons to set the desired range of the video. Then Save the project to demux the audio. Then use BeSweet to transcode the resulting demuxed audio stream.

Thanks, it appears to have put it as a wav and a dts file.
Will besweet then split them up into seperate audio files per song? The songs are seperated one per chapter.

You need to set the range in DGIndex to include just the song you want.

I can't advise you about other solutions.

Is there a way to make DGIndex read chapter markers and select that chapter only?
Otherwise i have to manually create a selection accurately for 31 songs, which will take several hours.

Hi!

As an alternative (as posted elsewhere by "CWR03"):

You can extract the audio by chapter or by PGC using DVD Decrypter in IFO mode. From there you can use BeSweet's GUI (BeLight) to convert the AC3 audio directly to MP3. If it's a concert DVD, ripping by chapter should separate it just like the chapters are separated in viewing the DVD.
