StaxRip - Xvid (cant change bitrate)

Hay, really odd problem..
For some reason the Target bitrate jumps back to, or resets to 4073 Kbps, whenever i change it.

What could be the course to this problem?

I have the exact same problem and it's getting on my nerves...

I believe that you have to use 'Exact File Size' to be able to change the file size/bitrate.

Nah that cant be it, i've allways been able to change it.

The bitrate calculator should work, even in constant quality mode.


Now, the thing that comes to mind.
I did play about with some other settings, but i also changed it back to the defaults.. So maybe a bug in the program got something mixed up along the way, anyway it dident help to reinstall... Maybe it saved some info about settings in the registry, i dont like programs i uninstalled leaving a mess behind.

For the above reason, devs cant expect us to know their programs inside-out, or the installer behaviour.. Not saying its the case, but since reinstalling dident help i just suspect it being the source.
