Hi!

Seeing as this is a "New Line Video" release, as was "Blade - House of Chthon", it likely contains the same new/ugly type of copy protection.

If so, you should be able to DVDCopy v.3.9.102 to make a copy...

DVDFab HD Decrypter 3.2.0.0 should be able to handle this one, as well.

One thing at a time, please.

Were you able to successfully rip "Full of It"?

If so, which program did you use?

Despite some variations and new additions (as compared to "Blade - House of Chthon") regarding false or missing .IFOs, .BUPs, and .VOBs - and some bad sectoring tied to the .IFOs - DVD95Copy Pro went through this DVD "like a hot knife through butter" ;>}

I wonder how much money our "friends" at New Line (Time-Warner/AOL) have commited to this "Junior"-type of protection?

However much or little, I'd suggest it could be better spent on higher quality release than "Blade - House of Chthon" and "Full of It"!

The hot knife through butter comment is excellent. :D I agree that this protection is a waste. All of the major rippers have been updated, or will be officially updated(in the case of AnyDVD) within the next few days, to handle this foolish perversion of the DVD standard. Your smartripper concept was hilarious and great for movie only backups and let me to come up with my own method for backing up a full disc of Blade HoC before any of the rippers had been updated. All in all this protection is now a footnote in the history of "successful" copy protections. :) I'm just glad we got updates so quickly to handle it. The AnyDVD beta that was leaked is successful on both titles and I am hopeful that Slysoft will release a public release in a few days after the bugs are worked out.
