Cce 2.50

I have a project I want to run through CCE 2.50. My source from what I have been told is going to require IVTC. My question is what settings should be used in CCE? Do I encode as a progressive source or an interlaced source? What other settings should I consider when encoding this kind of source? Thanks for any help.

Progressive.

set scanning to zigzag.
set gop m=3 n/m=4

who remembers 2.5 ...

I assume avisynth usage.
what's important is knowing cce 2.5 crashes with avisynth input without a workaround
