Avi to DVD

Hi...

I recorded some TV shows in Vista Media Center. I converted the files to Xvid... I bought a DVD Writer recently and wondering how to burn the files into DVD which can be played in my DVD Player as well. I came to know about srt subtitles file... I like to make my own subtitle for the video as well. What software is good for my need? My friend said that there are software which are better than Vegas and Ulead Movie Studio..

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance :)

Try FAVC or AVStoDVD. Both are quite nice and automated, so they should work great for you.
