Ripped DVD jumping backwards

I'm having trouble with a DVD I've ripped. There was obviously something wrong with the original as this jumped backwards during play and after ripping it ok, Nero Digital wouldn't convert it. I've managed to strip just the movie using DVD Shrink and burned this off, but now it plays ok and then jumps backwards every 5 mins or so. Is this just some kind of pointer error and is there anyway to simply regenerate these?

DVD Shrink will rewrite all pointers when it shrinks the titles.

If none of these disks play, you may have an issue with your player.
