hi!
i tried to rip the 'making of' and a trailer from one of my dvds. the problem is that the trailer is 16:9 and the 'making of' in 4:3 format. cause i want to burn it on one SVCD (one image file) i have to decide weather to take 16:9 or 4:3.

what can i do to have both movies on one svcd without skrewing up one of them?

well.. considering that most players can't handle 16:9 svcds the choice should be obvious

If I understand you correctly, you want to take two diferent videos one which is 4:3 source and one that is 16:9 source (on the same dvd or not, it dont matter)? And you want to play them on a normal 4:3 tv? Well If my assumptions are correct then yes you can do that without a problem, as long as your not joining those two files together but instead haveing those as seperate video tracks...

Hi!
I already did this once. Just encode the film and the making of seperately and then don't let DVD2SVCD make images. Just burn the bbmpeg_muxed_file.mpeg's with Nero or your desired burning program as SVCD.
In case it says that you did a non standard SVCD - ignore that!
