Ulead software does not comlain while importing the file into the program. But when I was trying to create the dvd software prompt the error message the the audio is not correct.
What should be the audio set to.. curenly default value is 44Khz should it be 48Khz.

48 KHz audio might be a requirement. Try resampling and reencoding your audio to 48 KHz to see if the program accepts it. TMPGEnc might be able to do this, or you can use a programs like VirtualDub and Cool Edit 2000 to resample the audio before reencoding it. You could also try capturing a short video in 48 KHz to experiment with less hassle.

You need to get TMPGEnc working. Using mpeg tools you can extract the mp2 audio at 48khz then remux the mp2 with the original mpg file. Works great...I have to do the same thing with my capture card. All authoring programs I've tried accept the files fine.

Have you tried bbMPEG?:
