Avs_patch - Help

I'm trying to feed an avs script in windows media encoder 8 but it doesn't support the format.
I tried to use the patch program, but i must be doing something wrong can anyone tell me how to use this program.

I typed in the commandline:
C:\avs_patch script.avs (both files are located in C:\ dir) but the program doesn't work.

Any suggestions ?

You would have to avs_patch the windowsmediaencoderorsimilar.exe file, not the .avs. However, windows media encoder does not read .avs, no matter if patched or not.
